BİLGİ New Music Festival is organized for the fourteenth time to bring together composers, musicians, academics and all music enthusiasts who follow the adventure of music in the 20th and 21st centuries.

The festival will include “Duo Gross & Schouten”, a project of two Dutch and Austrian musicians who will perform the works of BİLGİ Music students and various composers, “Electroacoustic Intersections”, where we will listen to the works of various electroacoustic music composers who responded to the open call for works, and “Improvisation Evening” curated by Şevket Akıncı. It consists of three concerts. In addition, the workshop of Katharina Gross and Fie Schouten and the round table meeting titled “How free is free improvisation?”, moderated by Şevket Akıncı will also be part of the festival.

We invite everyone who is interested in new music, is a part of new music and wants to show their support to be a part of our events.
